Changes
We have really enjoyed
doing Rugby Week these past years. We hope it has helped both those of you who live in Rugby and
those who don’t live here but who want to feel connected to what is
going on in our unique village. Unfortunately, we will not be able to continue to do the full blog any
longer. However, for a while we will
keep up the Calendar so that folks can look for events and community happenings
in one central place.
If someone wants to take over
the blog or do some other form of periodic communication, that would be great
for the community and we would certainly help in any way we can.
Fortunately, there are now several alternate ways to get information about Rugby happenings. Here are a few:
Make sure you are on
Historic Rugby’s email newsletter list. They send out a free monthly email newsletter about organizational news and events for the coming
month, as well as other periodic emails on special topics.Become a member of Historic Rugby by going to www.historicrugby.org or picking up a membership form at the Visitor Centre, the Café or the Commissary. The organization plans a new quarterly newsletter to be mailed to members.
There are also two Facebook
sites that have information sharing about Rugby. You can view either of them without being a Facebook member, but you must join (it's free) to post on them

A new Historic Rugby website is planned to be available soon. It should be a good source of schedule information for Historic Rugby events, changes in hours for the Café, local history and all other elements of the site: www.historicrugby.org
We will try to update the calendar on Sundays. While we will not be sending out reminder emails, you will be able to check for updates on Monday mornings by going to:
www.rugbyweek.blogspot.com Just save that site in your favorites. It has all the back issues of Rugby Week as well for several years, accessed by clicking at the bottom on "Previous Posts."
