Rugby activities...

As shown in the calendar below, Rugby is always busy with activities each week.  One of the loveliest activities is the County Dancing, taught by Mary Hemminger.  Mary and Bob have been dancing at many occasions throughout Tennessee for years now.  Below is just a quick glimpse of the dancing, last Saturday, at the Friendly House. The dancing is held either on Friday or Saturday evenings, about every other week... check the calendar for exact times.  The picture really needs music to do it justice.

Work begins on Addition to Arbory Cottage...
Mike & Debbie Harris have made plans to add an addition to the back part of their current home.  Arbory Cottage is located in the Beacon Hill area of Rugby.  Work began a couple weeks ago.

Work on Rugby bypass continues...

If interested, here's some more pictures, taken last Saturday, during a hike through the new bypass area.

Rugby Week Taking a Break

This is the last week for the shortened version of Rugby Week.  Thanks to Benita Howell and Carrie Thornthwaite for the blogs this week and last.  With much rejoicing from all, our regular format will return on February 28th.  Thanks to Rick for the wonderful work that he does throughout the year on all the regular blogs!

Birthdays
Well, there's no Rugby birthdays, this week, except our celebration, Monday, for Abe's and George's birthdays. Lest we forget, Abe's true birthday was on February 12... born in 1809.  And George has his on February 23rd (Tuesday)... born 1732.
